Assigned to escort CMS surveyors to the kitchen on their visit to Baylor St. Luke’s, Mark Biscone, Director, Research, saw that all hands on deck would be necessary to remedy the issues identified. When Mark wasn’t escorting surveyors around our facilities, he was working—often after hours—doing everything he could to help kitchen staff, even scrubbing sinks, to ensure compliance with CMS conditions of participation.
